We are pleased to announce that Katarzyna Kisiel, Eng. a Master's student in Chemical Technology at the Faculty of Chemistry of the Rzeszów University of Technology and a member of the Chmielarz Research Group and the Student and Doctoral Chemical and Pharmaceutical Engineering Society "IPSUM", is among the 4 laureates who received the Rector's Award for organisational activity in the academic year 2023/2024!
Katarzyna Kisiel has been an active member of KN IPSUM, participating in the research work carried out within the research group. Among these activities one can distinguish promoting the Faculty of Chemistry and Rzeszów University of Technology among school children and youth, e.g., during the „Wybrane problemy chemii” and VII Nocne Spotkania z Nauką – NOC ODKRYWCÓW events, as well as representation of KN IPSUM and Chmielarz Research Group at national (National Scientific Conference "e-Factory of Science") and international scientific conferences, e.g. 12th European Young Engineers Conference and International Conference for Young Scientists on Biorefinery Technologies and Products BTechPro2024.
She is also involved in projects carried out within the activities of the scientific society and research group, i.e. 'Student science clubs create innovation' funded by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education (SKN/SP/569572/2023), SONATA BIS 10 (UMO-2020/38/E/ST4/00046) funded by the National Science Centre and LIDER XIV (0058/L-14/2023) funded by the National Centre for Research and Development. The student's involvement has also resulted in co-authorship in scientific papers, including one published in a journal with an Impact Factor of 8.7: Izabela Zaborniak, Małgorzata Klamut, Cicely M.
